All The Men & Women Who have Sacrificed Their Lives For Our Freedoms
TO: MEMBERS OF THE MILITARY; PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE
I can honestly say four years ago; I didn’t consider myself a patriot. Don’t get me wrong, I loved this country, but I guess I never realized how much I loved it and why. I didn’t know the true meaning behind the constitution and what our founding fathers set out to do with it. In short, I’ve learned the freedom we’re privileged enough to experience here is unlike anywhere else in the world. The opportunities here are endless, and there isn’t enough time or brain capacity to go over them. With that said, it brings me to you, the men and women of our armed forces. We enjoy the benefits of freedom because of you guys. You leave your families, not knowing if it’s the last time you will see each other again—many who’ve sustained the ultimate sacrifice by losing their lives. You don’t do it for the money, and you sure as hell don’t do it for the recognition.
Sadly, not everyone has the same appreciation. Many take your services for granted. It’s hard to truly understand the purpose of your sacrifice when you haven’t lived a day in a country where freedom is viewed as fantasy. It’s why so many people, including myself, took the military for granted. I was one of those people that respected you but never truly understood the importance of your role in my life. During Trump’s presidency, I learned two fundamental facts. 1. The freedom and sense of security we enjoy daily are a result of your service. 2. You guys don’t receive the recognition you deserve.
You went from a president who loves, appreciates and adores you to one that frankly doesn’t give a rat’s ass about you. President Trump was a leader who wanted nothing more than your safe return. So much so that the world took note of his threats against hurting any one of you. The threat of hellfire and brimstone against any nation who dared to test his love resonated well with world leaders.
Unfortunately, your current commander and chief is not your typical leader. He’s not a leader who cares or fights for you. I’ve had a hard time witnessing the extent of neglect directed towards you in the past two years. In the year leading up to Biden’s inauguration, how many times did he address the military? How many times did he close his speeches by thanking you or asking for the Lord’s blessing? Few to none. Was it done intentionally, or was it an innocent act of omission? In my opinion, it was a calculated move. The makeup of his base is anti-American – anti-freedom, and as disgusting as this may sound, anti-military. Praising you guys would be a political misfire. It’s not a coincidence that his post-election speeches gave more relevance to you. My blood boils when anyone, let alone a political figure shows such disregard to you guys. It killed me to observe you guys sleeping on the floors of the Capitol. If that wasn’t bad enough, they didn’t even have the dignity to provide you with sheets or pillows. You were called upon by the left to protect them, and they turned their backs on you the second you arrived.
The fake news outlets executed similar plans. Rarely, if ever did they pray for you, thank you, or recognize your sacrifice. Instead, their coverage consisted of their dissatisfaction with the political makeup of the military. Or how can conservatives be trusted to protect our country?
In the last year and a half, I’ve been given a glimpse into living life inside a communist-like country. With that came an understanding of how vital your sacrifices genuinely are. You defend us from enemies foreign and domestic while protecting our constitutional rights—all this and more at the expense of losing your life and upending your family in the process.
We are the country that the world looks up to, and millions would die to be a part of. Because of you, the United States of America is a safe and freedom-loving country. I pray that we continue down the road set forth by our founding fathers.
From the millions of Patriots and I, thank you for selflessly serving our interests. We would also like to thank your families. Although they’re an essential part of serving this country, their role is often underrated and, therefore, unrecognized. Whether it’s taking over daily tasks at home, raising their children solo, or the mental and emotional toll they endure with respect to the safety of their loved ones. Oftentimes their roles are undervalued, under-appreciated, and overlooked factors of our sovereignty.
If there’s one message I’d like to drive home, it’s to assure you that the American people acknowledge the sacrifices you and your families endure for us. We appreciate it more than you’ll ever know and would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. We’ll continue to pray for you and your family. We love you, and may God bless you and your families.
Sincerely,
Admin Patriot
